Regarding the Acceptance and Treatment of Disaster Waste Associated with the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake

Following the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, efforts to restore and rebuild the affected areas are ongoing.

In line with the policies outlined in the "Kumamoto Prefecture Disaster Waste Management Implementation Plan for the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake" formulated by Kumamoto Prefecture, Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. is involved in the acceptance and processing of disaster waste in collaboration with local governments, temporary storage site management companies, the Kumamoto Prefecture Industrial Resource Circulation Association, and other relevant organizations. Large quantities of disaster waste are being delivered to the temporary storage sites almost daily, and we are proceeding with appropriate, smooth, and prompt handling, prioritizing safety above all else.

In processing disaster waste, it is important not only to dispose of the waste but also to recycle as much of it as possible for reuse as resources.
