Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. has sponsored the SDGs and Environmental Special Feature in the October 2026 issue of the Kumamoto business magazine "Kumamoto Keizai," and has had an article and advertisement published in the issue.
The article covers our end-to-end approach to industrial waste, ranging from collection and transport to disposal and recycling, as well as our efforts toward achieving a circular economy.
It also touches upon our material recycling track record, which was introduced at a circular economy seminar hosted by Kumamoto Prefecture, and the importance of cross-industry corporate collaboration.
During the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake, our Yatsushiro Recycling Center sustained damage; however, to ensure that the business operations of our local community and customers would not be interrupted, we restored our operational structure by the following day and worked through Sundays and the summer holidays to support local recovery and customer needs.
A circular economy cannot be achieved by a single company alone. We believe it is essential to collaborate across corporate and industry boundaries to keep resources circulating.
Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. will continue to contribute to the Kumamoto community and resource circulation through the proper treatment, collection, transport, intermediate processing, and recycling of industrial waste.
We invite you to read the October 2026 issue of "Kumamoto Keizai."
