We have been certified as a LiB partner to prevent the contamination of lithium-ion batteries.

Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. has been certified as a "LiB Partner" promoted by the Ministry of the Environment.

The LiB Partner program is a system that certifies local governments, businesses, and other organizations that promote proper usage and disposal methods and raise awareness of the risks of smoke and fire due to products using lithium-ion batteries, etc., to prevent fire accidents caused by such products.

Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in familiar products such as mobile batteries, rechargeable tools, heated tobacco products, and cordless appliances. However, if they are mixed with waste, they can emit smoke or catch fire during collection, transportation, or processing, leading to fire accidents.

At our company, lithium-ion batteries and products containing them are unacceptable items. However, they are sometimes mixed in with waste, so proper sorting and preventing their inclusion during disposal are crucial to prevent fire accidents.

As a LiB Partner, we will continue our efforts to prevent the inclusion of lithium-ion batteries through internal training, on-site notices, warnings on digital signage, and informing waste dischargers through our sales representatives.
