Regarding the Month for Strengthening Fire Prevention Measures for Lithium-Ion Batteries

October is Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Prevention Awareness Month.

Lithium-ion batteries can smoke or catch fire if subjected to strong impact or pressure. If they are mixed in with other waste, they pose a risk of causing fires in collection vehicles and waste processing facilities.

As a "LiB Partner" promoted by the Ministry of the Environment, Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. is actively working to raise awareness about the proper use and disposal of lithium-ion batteries and the dangers of smoke and fire they pose.

Our company does not accept lithium-ion batteries or products containing them.

However, lithium-ion batteries are sometimes unintentionally mixed in with other waste.

To prevent fire accidents, please check carefully before bringing in waste to ensure that no lithium-ion batteries or products containing them are mixed in.

Lithium-ion batteries are used in many everyday products, including power banks, cordless home appliances, rechargeable tools, handheld fans, heated tobacco products, electric shavers, mobile phones, and laptops.

Please do not mix unwanted lithium-ion batteries or products containing them with other waste; instead, please check your local municipality's rules for proper disposal methods.
