On June 13, Daito Shoji participated as an operational staff member in a rice planting event organized primarily by the Kumamoto Environmental Conservation Council.

<Scenes from the rice planting event>
This activity was conducted as part of an initiative to protect Kumamoto's vital groundwater. In Kumamoto, the "groundwater recharge" effect, where rainwater and irrigation water penetrate the ground and replenish groundwater by filling rice paddies with water, has gained attention.
On the day of the event, many people, including members of the Kumamoto Environmental Conservation Council, sponsoring companies, and their families, participated in the rice planting. Our company participated as a board member and a member of the steering committee of the council, providing support for venue operations.

As a company engaged in the proper treatment, recycling, and resource circulation of industrial waste, Daito Shoji actively participates in local environmental conservation activities. We will continue to contribute to Kumamoto's natural environment and local community based on the principle of "transforming waste into resources."
