At Daito Shoji Co., Ltd., as part of our compliance with laws and regulations regarding the proper handling of metal resources, we have filed the required notification for the business of purchasing specified metal scrap and have posted the mandatory signage at each of our applicable business locations.

In recent years, incidents of metal theft have been increasing nationwide, including the theft of copper cables from solar power generation facilities.

To strengthen measures against such metal theft, the "Act on Measures against Metal Theft" went into effect on June 1, 2026.

This law mandates that businesses involved in the purchase of specified metal scrap (currently copper) must submit a notification, and after doing so, are required to display signage in a conspicuous location containing information such as the business name, the Public Safety Commission name, and the notification number.

In accordance with this law, our company has filed the necessary notifications and has posted the "Specified Metal Scrap Purchasing Business" signage at the facilities where we purchase metals.
